= Instructions on Phase P1: Relational Model (!RelationalModel)

**Develop a detailed relational model** of the project's database relational schema using Visual Paradigm desktop version of the software. You can use the Community Edition for Free, or you can acquire a license. Using the online version is discouraged because it's lacking some modeling features.

** Create a new wiki page **!RelationalModel** to document the work** and link it to the front-page. The wiki page should have the structure described in the following template.

**Relational diagram**

* Visual Paradigm desktop version is the recommended tool for creating the model.
* Visually adjust the diagram to be as condense as possible (not waste too much space) and try to adhere as closely as possible to the guidelines on visual layout of the diagram as taught in the modeling lectures. 
* Save the diagram to an image file named RelationalModel.jpg and attach it in this wiki page.


**Descriptive documentation and argumentation**

Explain the modeling idea in detail for any specific segments of the model that are not obvious.

Approval and grading process:
* Develop the model during laboratory class
* Get an approval of the project idea and model by your assigned laboratory class assistant
* Consult with your course professor regarding project idea and further model improvements
* Approval of the model improvements by the course professor 
* Joint presentation and defense of the model by the entire team in front of the course professors
* Final model grading
