The Easy Food app, aims to help its users make better and faster choices when ordering food. It helps you place an order according to your budget, available time, past orders and so much more. It also aims to help restaurants better themselves according to the data and customer comments. Users can explore a wide selection of restaurants, filter meals by preparation time, dietary preferences, and price range, and place orders directly through the app. In addition to ordering, users have access to their order history and can leave feedback and ratings for restaurants. Restaurants have their own interface. They can see the incoming orders of the customers as well as some information about their status in the general market. This way they can see what can help them grow. They also have the options to edit the menu, prices, logo etc. With these personalised features for the users and restaurants ,Easy Food is an app that can ease the online food delivery for everyone.

Detailed Project Description

Who is the database and the project that you envision known to and who will be responsible for owning the database and application that provides them as a service - is it a company/institution/organization? Provide an individual and a brief description of their needs.

The target audience of this project is, people with busy schedules who don’t have time to cook, because the main objective of this project is fast ordering. But it could be used by everyone who wants to order food. The application will have options to search the products and filter them. The restaurants will be the ones providing menus and price needed for the application. They also will be benefited from this project, because they will have beneficial statistics for the business. They will have options such as, updating menus, pricing, pictures, descriptions, logos etc. They will be seeing the orders, placed by customers and confirm them, so that they can prepare it.

What problems in the company or organization will you solve with your work?

The main problem this application is solving is connecting restaurants to delivery and to the customers. Many people have short brakes during work, and they don’t have time to eat in between. With this system we want to help people make faster decisions and choose the best options.

What types of users will have access to the database and the project - in terms of types of company/institution employees or customers?

The technical part, like the maintenance of the application will be done by the owners administrators of the application. Restaurant owners will be responsible for the setup of their own restaurants page. Things like menu and pricing. The customers don’t have any access to the database, except for adding orders. As well as deliverymen, who can only change the delivery status.

If there are other similar projects in the company or in the environment, or there are already ready-made solutions in the world, how is your proposed project different?

There are many existing food delivery applications in the world. They all are similar to each other, with varying designs and priorities in the properties. But the Easy Food app is unique in the way that it also helps the restaurant owners and the delivery men.
