Project Description

The Laboratory Management System is designed to support the daily operations of a private medical laboratory by providing a centralized platform for managing patients, laboratory requests, samples, analyses, results, employees, equipment, invoices, and payments.

The system enables efficient organization of laboratory processes, starting from patient registration and sample collection, through analysis execution, and ending with result generation and payment processing. Its primary goal is to improve accuracy, reduce manual work, and ensure reliable tracking of all laboratory activities.

At the organizational level, the system manages laboratories, departments, employees, roles, work schedules, and laboratory equipment. It also tracks employee qualifications for operating specific devices, ensuring proper equipment usage and operational efficiency.

Patients are registered with their personal information, while each visit is recorded as a laboratory request. Multiple samples can be collected during a single visit, and each sample is uniquely identified and linked to the appropriate analyses.

The system supports both individual tests and analysis packages. Test results are stored in a structured format, including parameters, reference values, and the responsible employee. Results may be numerical or textual depending on the type of analysis.

In addition, the system manages invoices and payments, allowing multiple payments per invoice and supporting different payment methods.
